I’m Luke…

Since leaving a successful career in the corporate hospitality, leisure and entertainment industry some 15 years ago, I have been passionately pursuing not only a career in health-wealth, but a life-journey motivated by own passion for physical, mental & spiritual self-betterment.

Where Was I?

My years in the corporate field culminated in not only high salaries, a Sydney harbour side apartment, a wardrobe of ugly of excess, and a completely unrealistic fascination in Panerai watches. But, I also woke up one morning in a hotel room in Melbourne and realised I had raging alcohol problem and a spectacular cocaine habit.

I was:

  • near-on 30 kilos overweight

  • probably pre-diabetic & hypertensive

  • mentally & spiritually shallow

  • completely unfulfilled

  • an emotional wreck

That early morning epiphany was the start of not only a very long and somewhat clumsy journey back to sobriety, but a journey back to me…and who I really am.
Over the last 15 years I have repeatedly failed.
I have relapsed more times than I can remember.
I’ve messed up and let people down, I’ve broken down and fallen down too many times to remember…but for some reason I kept getting up, I kept starting again, and each time I’d get a little further along until my choices for preservation outweighed my impulses for self-sabotage.

Perseverance pays off…

Where Am I Now?

I’m 52 years young, and I have never, ever been more physically, mentally and spiritually healthier and stronger than I am now.

Over the last 10 years I have studied strength and conditioning coaching & nutrition. Most recently, my studies and focus has been directed to philosophy, self-improvement, strategic habit development and endeavouring to find out ‘why we do what we do’ to improve not only my own potentiality, but the human potential of my clients and how we can not only live longer, but healthier and happier.

I’m an idea-agnostic, I research, collate and practice methodologies, philosophies and life-strategies that have helped me along way, and continue to help me to this day. I share this information and my personal anecdotes in my life journals to hopefully help and inspire others to forge real-world resilience and an inner-cheerfulness by way of the simple disciplines I live by everyday.

My story is no different.
My information is not new. I can only communicate my message through my own lengthy and vulnerable transformation. I certainly don’t have all the answers and still have a huge amount to learn myself, but I am very happy to share what I have learned along the way.
